🎨 Get messy, get creative, and stamp your style! In our exciting Block Printing Workshop (one for Kids and one for tweens), young artists will dive into the historic and hands-on world of printmaking.Designed specifically for creative minds, this workshop teaches kids how to design their own unique stamps, carve safely using kid-friendly tools, and print their custom creations onto tote bags, t-shirts, or paper.

It is the perfect blend of arts, crafts, and repeatable magic!What they'll learn:

📐 Design Basics: How to turn a simple drawing into a bold stamp pattern.

🛠️ Safe Crafting: Mastering the basics of block carving using safe, beginner-friendly techniques.

🌈 Ink & Layout: Mixing colors and learning how to roll ink like a professional printmaker.

Join Art Therapist and Instructor Kerri for this 6 class Tween Drawing Class. 

This 6-class drawing series is designed for youth ages 9–12

Saturdays from 10:00am to 11:30am September 26, Oct, 3, 10, 17, 24, 26.

Drawing is about so much more than making pictures— learning to draw strengthens focus, helps with problem-solving skills, and fosters emotional well-being by having a healthy outlet for curiosity, self-expression, and connection with others. In this engaging class for ages 9–12, students will explore a variety of drawing techniques while discovering the joy of expressing their ideas in a supportive, encouraging environment. 

Alongside the creative benefits, students will develop one of the most important foundations of personal growth: observation. Through fun, hands-on exercises, they'll learn to slow down, notice details and translate what they truly see onto the page by doing interesting and varied exercises that will help grow your child’s curiosity and confidence. The skills that they build through observation will not only make them stronger artists but also will anchor in a deep appreciation for the world around them they will carry with them through their whole life. 

Through this 6 week course we will explore:

• Drawing from observation
• Drawing from our imagination
• Portraits
• Fictional Characters
• Storytelling
• Drawing out of scale

The cost for this series is $210 plus GST.
