How to Draw - Character Design
A drawing series that builds skills and curiosity.
Love comics? Deep dive with artist and illustrator Elin Laaksonen into the world of character design. In this hands-on workshop students will be learning how to create and draw an original comic book character. They'll be guided through the process of creating a backstory and concept, and then into creating a rough thumbnail sketch. From there they'll refine their designs, render, clean up and add colour!
Students will leave this class character ready!
Sunday 19th 1pm - 3pm
Class includes: character design instructions, and all supplies needed.
Suggested for ages 11–15. All skill levels welcome!!
